Q: Will you write about my band?
A: Yes, if I like your music, and if you meet these guidelines:
1. You have a decent recording
2. No excessively vulgar or offensive language/content
3. Ask nicely and don't spam me
Metal bands that have violins in them are usually pretty good, I've found, so go ahead and write me! But just to clarify: I don't write album reviews - I will give a brief overview of the band and then proceed to spend a disproportionate amount of time talking about your violinist and their violin playing. Just so you know what to expect.
Q: I know of a good metal band that uses violin but they're not on here. Can I suggest them to you?
A: Definitely. Just follow the above guidelines, and don't be offended if I choose not to write about them soon, or ever - these posts can take a very long time to write, and I am not getting paid! But I do like hearing your suggestions and I appreciate the time you take to write me!
